To align a face scan with the 3D X-ray:
Indicate at least three corresponding points on the CT data and the face scan, and then click Next.
Notes
The CT data is by default in skin mode. Use the skin threshold slider to optimize the visualization of the patient model.
To undo or redo the last point, click Undo last point or Redo last point.
To start all over, click Reindicate points.
Check the alignment by scrolling through the sagittal reslices, and click Finish.
Notes
Now the face scan is positioned in the CT reference frame instead of the intraoral scan reference frame.
The face scan tile in the patient menu will display a cube icon (), indicating that the face scan is aligned with the 3D X-ray.
To adjust the position of a face scan, use the Adjust smart panel, or select Edit position in the right-click menu.
