Tools Preferences

Spotlight

To set the default behavior of the Spotlight tool:

In the Preferences dialog, click Tools.

Select the Spotlight mode:

Magnifying glass: To magnify a specific image area.

Image filter glass (default): To apply a filter to a specific image area.

Click OK.

Instruction Messages

By default, instruction messages (e.g. Press spacebar to activate SmartFocus, Press Esc to go back to the layout overview) are shown on each workspace.

To show or hide it:

In the Preferences dialog, click Tools.

Select or deselect Show instruction messages.

Click OK.
